/mapstats fixed

/mapstats didnt work if you had finished a map but never speedrun it. That is fixed now.

Sorry, my bad, I was playing a map last night, alone, and didn't want any dumb0 to join in and rockthevote [then pick another map when I would have extended, and OTHER MAP WINS! (*)], so I disabled rockthevote, but I thought the setting would be reset at next map load. Great, now I know it's not the case, at least ;)


(*) this happened to me recently, while I was playing cm7 on Medium, then Gari joined, typed rockthevote, I chose to extend, he chose another map [that he didn't even play! he just quit] and OTHER MAP WINS! ... I think this should be 'fixed' BTW, in this precise case (2 players, 1 wants to extend, 1 wants another map), extend should win, IMHO, to prevent this.

Not sure this is implmented in the rtv plugin. You could ask about this here:

I agree that the rtv should be cancelled asap if someone leaves. It does, within a certain time limit, but not close to map change.

I'll see if a paused plugin can be unpaused after map change.

Well, Gari didn't leave immediately after rocking the vote (and choosing a random map he would not even play), he waited for the map to end (thanks to his choice), probably awaiting a sign of frustration from my part, then when the next map loaded, he was no longer there... A pure act of nuisance. [which LaFleur would have been proud of, for sure]

Fortress Forever patched from 2.4 to 2.41

Not much to say about this as it is mainly a bug fix planned for earlier release.

For us skills dudes there are a few things which we care about:
  • Grenade throwspeed changed to 660 down from 700 (2.3 value was 630)
  • New, less obscuring conc explosion effect. Added cvar to switch back to the old effect (cl_conc_refract) and put it in Fortress Options

I am not sure about if the throwspeed for grenades also means concs, I'm going to ask about that.

funny error on surf_cloudz:
climbing the ladder on j2 can teleport you to endball. then it keeps spamming the message: finished in 0min 0sec

theres a block already so i think its a known error, but it still happens.

it's the good old ladderbug, never know exacly what causes it, but it happpens when u use a ladder a certain way :s

esad_marioconc will not run, i repeat, will not run on medium, seems it just wants to crash somehow. a fix would be appreciated. a second thing would be to find and put all the missing skyboxes for the jump server, and one of them has a corrupted file, its a skybox ive mentioned as missing, but only 5/6 files are working, the last did only dl half, and looked bizzare when i entered map, fixed it by googling :) but that sure doesnt fix it, if the download is screwed

one last thing, fix my admin on the jump server while ur looking into it :)

Hay Demon. Right now we are working on the new servers. With a few glitches and tweeks it almost works. I added your requests to the to do list. We will get to it when the server move is done, or when it is all ready to go.

rgr that, an add to the todo list, make sure redirectx works on hard, atm it says all servers except hard is down, should be a simple fix, u need to mess with them anyway, when u move over :p

edit: tayconc2 on medium, allow all teams to finish, they all have med a scout as only classes, so its on purpose all teams are avail :) ill keep updated with bigger things when the new servers arrive, stay tuned :)

edit #2: probably noted before, concmap_my4 needs to wav files located in sound/concmap_my4, called churchbell.wav and hitthat.wav, first one doesnt really matter, takes 2 or 3 seconds to download, but the other wants to take 6 and a half minute to download, so best if you get those two files uploaded, if you havent got them, send me a message and ill try and find them :)

edit #3: concmap_ice2 has 27 mb of wav files, that doesnt download, fix?

edit #4: k_thegame2_r seems to crash fun, as i am unable to fix it, you gotta do it, and plz leave a damn reply if you fix any of this listed..

Über count on Jumps changed

The minimum amount of maps needed to count as Über on Jumps has been lowered from 1000 finished maps to 200. Only 668 players have finished maps on Jumps. And only one guy had done over 1000.

Even if the Über is a silly thing this is a better number for now, until we have something better.
