After crashing our heads together me and wub failed agreeing on a theme, again. Without themes, no maps. But also, seeing how few that have been interested in this I see no other way than saying this is the end of this road. Lack of time, lack of communication and lack of influx of new people who wanna try it out make me believe this is not worth pursuing.

We had a discussion about some other form of mapping cooperation but we get back to that if and when this takes any form.

p.s. Blame me, as I was the one who first suggested to cancel this because of the reasons above.

Llama got it in one, so I won't elaborate on the decision too much, but it basically came down to a lack of active interest in the project at hand.

As mentioned, we're going to go back to the drawing board and try to think of other things to do!

I think this is sad. But maybe you can start a new Event. I mean, there is no need to make a new map every sunday. Its stressy (is this a word? I dunno ). I think we could make like an event every month or so. So every guy has more time and so on. Especially for new mappers, like I am, this time is very short and when I look afterwards at those jumps Im lucky that I did not take part in it. It would be amberressing for me... you guys know what I mean ?

Im not writing this to drag people down with me in this statement, but I guess some of the inspiration dies with the fact that the servers are as empty as they are. I, who was active a few years ago during the time ez was glowing, have these memories from the moments when all of the servers were packed at the evenings.

I really do miss those good old days and it kinda kills me to see the empty servers. Im prepared to go very far to catch those days again, but this is more than a handfull of people can handle it seems. We need another generation to take over, to bad that kids nowdays are spoiled with the new supergraphic computergames.

That's not entirely true, kids nowadays are being spoiled by World of Warcraft which infact has worse graphics .
