This avi has been out for a while, when i first saw this it was a refreshing piece of tfc art. I think i may give more credit to this video because APM created it who made one of the greatest tfc videos in terms of editing http://mrclan.com/avi/Last%20Dinosaur%202.avi .

To break it down i personally like the effect, i dont particulary like the motion blur, if you are going to create a 720p avi higher fps would have been sweet. The music is very nice and goes well with the offensive footage with the movement involved. As for the plays there are some great names featured, alot of the demos are from a few years back. Someone mentioned alot of fragging, i only counted two one of which was a nice conc-shotty across the openfire yard :>. The gren bounce to the sg finishes the avi nicely, this is a very rare play its hard to reproduce several bounces off nails lolz :P.

I understand some people dislike the ingame sound but nowdays i prefer ingame sounds to go with the video, must be watching quake and cs videos. Maybe he should have used a blank grentimer like the MyTink avi where ingame sound went nicely with this avi, although there were custom sounds used :s http://mrclan.com/avi/myT1nk-TF.avi

This is a big departure from his previous works, the editing isnt upto LD2 standards with overlays and masking etc. For whatever reason he decided to use a different style and make a more simplistic avi thats the way i see it.

wub my opinion was its bad editing to my eye coz I don't like that heavy effect over material. I wanna see the material in avis, not the effects.
like the quake avi u posted, its nicely made but the material is more important to me than the effects. would prefer it with q3 game graphs :). to me it's same for other game avis.

edit: good reminder there xan, last dinosaur avi ahmaigot that was greatly done

Quite good stuff for the first avi Gerra:) It looks cool but if you want to make it look cooler try to hide your hud (hud_draw0) and your x-hair. Also you can make juggles more interesting by using HH at the start.
But beside that its pretty nice and I like the musik :)

Yeh i think you could do hC with tons of practice. GOGO you can do it.

Start trying some harder maps. like (juggle)luna, vi (joke), Hell even foamy2 might help you. (prec) tyrant2, or combo some stuff on speed/speed2 conc_sklz, theres always abyss, but idk if you want to do any jumps after j2, but the first two jumps are a good warm up.

But if you just want to skip right to the trail start with something like kaiser<sanitarium<liar. For prec I would start with charmander. :p maybe if you cant handle that conc_what

First off, you should start a new topic if you want to post some videos, just so it's organised.

Second, it's good to see you're improving, and good to see you're still keen on making videos to share. One thing I would comment on is that you should show yourself landing the jumps and not just cutoff in the middle of a jump, I recall Myst got into trouble for doing that on concmap_exist j2 backwards way back when!

I'd like to see you try to be a little more adventurous with editing, just spending a little more time can add wonders to the finished product. Keep it up though :>

Uhm, not at all I just thought it looked harder never really tried :p. as for sanitarium, haven't tried concing that either I was just pulling stuff out my arse.
